Ok so I have been swapping over stuff from my old van to the new (to me)van
Just got the Gaslow kit to swap over tomorrow then it’s done!
The van is lazy starting could the Solar panel output be masking the real state of the van and hab batteries?

You should never judge a battery by its voltage alone, yes a solar panel may give you false assurance that the voltage is ok. But, only during charging. Depends of what you measure and how you interpret that moment in time.

You say it is lazy starting, this implies there is a problem with your starter battery. Are you sure your solar setup does charge the starter battery. If using a 'battery master' style device to top up the starter battery from the habitation battery, be aware they usually only supply around one or two amps so would take ages to charge the starter battery from flat.
Try charging the starter battery with a separate charger first before buying a new one.

For peace of mind, I would replace the starter battery.

And give the solar panel a wash.

Try connecting a jump lead between the starter battery and the engine on the earth side and see if it’s a better start.
