So we bought this box on wheels.....

Welcome Traghast your daughter has, what was my dream job as a child. Wonder though why you didn't take her when you went to look, might have got a bit off to cover the jobs.
wishing you happy times, oh and have you tried O'Learys near hull for the hinges. Dont go by their web site they couldn't possibly have everything on it.

Hi there, yes it was mine too but I was told girls could not be mechanics by my careers advisor though not to be defeated, after I had done what everyone else wanted me to do, I did a couple of night school courses on mechanics and panel beating - I'm just too old and stiff to crawl about under vehicles these days. Unfortunately for us the daughter has a full time job and spends her free time with the boyfriend keeping his classic cars running so, you know, time. Still I'm sure she enjoyed telling me what was wrong and exercising her hard earned smarts at my expense

I tried O'learys and many others, these things are rocking horse .... We paid Bills hinges to make a new one, which seemed expensive but I am quite sure it will feel like a mere trifle when the welders bill is presented to us! I am not going to worry, I have a house I can sell if the worst happens, at least it will save me having to divide it up for the kids :roflmto:
