We are looking to get a tv for Merlin and have read up on tv’s. We have a limited budget and won’t be staying many places we won’t have electric hook up so a 240 tv would work. I’ve read lots of poor reviews of 12volt tv’s sound quality and wondered if we bought a normal 22” tv how much of our leisure battery power would be used using it. We have solar to top up but if that’s not doing much does anyone else have 240 tv they use with leisure battery’s 🥴

I can highly recommend the LG range of Smart TV's, we have the 24TN510S.
These run on 19v with a 12v to 19v converter bought separately.
No need to pay Avtex prices, these are only £179 and excellent quality.

Edit to add converter link:
I'll second LG tv's, although I've got a non smart version, it's a 21" LG tv/monitor, picked up for less than £40 on ebay and it sounds great

sound was an issue for us so we use Bluetooth to push tv sound through MH van stereo. Massive difference and no extra cables or boxes

I use Avtex TV's in the MoHo, come with 12v or 240v options, I have both via 12v as the Burstner really does have a lack of mains sockets and they work great. I do not experience any sound issues with these Avtex TV's, we went for a cheaper one initially in our first MoHo and it was really poor, quickly returned and invested in Avtex. I use this with onboard aerial, Mobile Wifi for Freeview Play and a Firestick for Netflix / Prime etc.

I bought the W249TS for my previous MoHo and moved that one over, and the new Burstner actually came with 2 x 249DSFVP (24 inch) so I removed one of them, has a nice feature with single button tuning.

So, I actually have one of these sitting spare right now, not sure what you're budget is and hadn't got around to advertising it yet but it's sitting here with all parts and box as well as an Avtex carry case should you not want it permanently in the Moho.

Just saying ::bigsmile: ping me if interested
