Smart/Non Smart Alternator with Lithium Battery

Subsequently, this thread https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/lithium-inverter-install-help-please.295624/ asked the same question about smart alternators, and the OP helpfully included a picture of his vehicle battery. In reply 3, Lenny HB explained that if you've got the little black box you can see in the picture then you have a smart alternator. I'm just off outside to look at mine
