Possibly looking to purchase one of these things but know nothing about them or their ability to produce power.
Any advice please.
Thinking along the lines of the Honda suitcase type?
Thanks.

Well I’ve not used it for a while now it’s never had petrol in it I’ve only ever ran it on LPG
Aha....I see.....
So not fully tested then?
Could alter its sale price considerably
I could take it off your hands for Ten bob and a Rabbit.
And some Halloween Haribo sweets.
Let me know :giggle:

If it's an auction, I'll offer a bag of werthers originals and a box liquorice allsorts. In reserve if pushed, arm twisted could run to a Mars bar

I was quite impressed by a neighbour with a genny.

It had a purpose built wooden box the size of a tea chest lined with insulation and an external plug socket and switches and an air intake and a bit of guttering elbow pipe on the 'roof' that allowed them to direct the exhaust, as that is where the sound goes.

As far as we were concerned it was almost silent and we were only about 20m away.

Thank you for your interest in my plight of sourcing additional power.
Whilst this looks interesting it is not something I have considered and would need to look into further.
Having had a discussion with a knowledgeable friend, a complete re-vamp of the electric charging system, uprated wiring, a lithium battery ( although I am scared of these) and uprated fuse and distribution centre, plus possible additional 240v sockets fitted and an inverter system , this would not neccisarily be a major project on our campervan, thus rendering my original idea of a generator possibly obsolete.
I have some thinking to do and re -evaluation of our needs v wants v finance available.
Thank you for your suggestion though.
