You do have to remember to allow a gap for the vents on the microwave, ours at home has them on the side (it's a convection oven as well), most are on the side or back.We measured the width of the cupboard and it was 40 cms wide. Bill wanted a gap around it, but I assume it won't be used excessively. Perhaps @Ambilkate could buy one to try, and return if not happy.
