Hopefully she won't read that.Sally as a sleeping bag
And run a seam (12 ins or so) down one side of the cover so it remains empty, to tuck down the side wall of the van. Can't abide sleeping bags so we used duvet in our single bedded PVC but the standard single ones were too wide so I cut about 6 inches off and stitched them up, same with the covers, perfect fit then and they didn't try to slide off the bed in the night!
One good way to keep a duvet 'captive' is to use a single but put it in a double cover then you can tuck the excess cover in at the side of wall side of the bed.
Interesting that we're not the only ones who have a double to ourselves.Me bag on overcab, wife duvet on rear double.

Never used silk, sounds expensive. But I can heartily endorse my wool filled duvets sold by Baavet. Some folks extol the benefits of a silk duvet, saying they are perfect for both summer and winter. Anyone tried them? I do like my silk pillowcases - they keep your head cooler and the lack of friction helps keep your hair less frizzy.
