Silver screens. Internal or external

Ours go in the shower when it has been raining. They soon dry out. Trouble is, if it is still raining, I get soaked too. The only downside of externals.

The others are that you have to get dressed if you've forgotten to put them up before wine o'clock and you can't just yank them off and drive away if the locals have come round with pitchforks.

Well, unlike most motorhome owners, we don't drink most of the time and we also never stay where we are not wanted. So not really a problem for us.

Hi
The silver screens for sale are external ones excellent condition the only defect is the bit that hooks over the doors started to fray so sealed with tape.

We have to go with the external vote, you can forget about condensation and they really keep the cold out.

External silver screens are the best.
They're effective for both keeping the van warm in cold weather and keeping it cooler in hot weather.
Also, they are much more effective for stopping condensation.
I second this, we bought external silver screens on the recommendation of others on this site and they are brilliant. Far easier to put on that we feared, keep the van cool for our dogs and warm for all of us overnight - 2 people, 2 dogs, no condensation. Worth every penny.

We use external too and are brilliant in snowy/icy conditions giving you a clear screen when removed.

We use both. Used together they are really effective at keeping the van cool in Summer sun and warm in Winter. Only snag with external is that they get wet and dirty in bad weather. Ours also cause a slight leak in heavy rain where the cover goes over the top of the cab doors and breaks the seal.

And get wet from rain or snow, a pain if your packing
