Thanks, it's been doing it since filling up yesterday and driving me nuts.
What I do after winter drain down is, fill the cold water tank completely, gravity help fill system, close all taps, turn on pump, when it's stopped pumping, open up single cold tap in kitchen, when air stops bubbling, close and open hot until that stops bubbling, close and then systematically do each tap in turn not forgetting shower and toilet.
I will take some time to remove ALL air but be patient!

Fill fresh water tank then open Hot Taps first so Water fills the Boiler when water runs clear (no air splutters) then close Hot taps & open Cold taps till there is no air splutters , system should be Air Free then.

I like this approach. I am usually much more haphazard but I can see that this will work properly.
