No... ive never found anything that will remove it once set other than mechanical..Afternoon, does anyone know of an easier way to clean off sikaflex than elbow grease?
Ive had the stuff covered with that diesel , white spirits , cellulose thinersSilicon remover will soften it, then use a blunt chisel.
I found brush silicon remover on it just leave a few mins and the Sika comes off a lot easier, then wiped with meths to clean the solvent off, no damage to GRP. Also found a bit of silicon remove on the cheese wire when cutting the fixing off helped.Ive had the stuff covered with that diesel , white spirits , cellulose thiners
And other solvents for days.. made next to no difference... and then theres the worry about the solvent might do to the structure

Ive posted it before.. but in best blue peter tradition....

Give me a break will you..That's gotta be up there with the videos "watching paint dry" and "watching a kettle boil"!!!![]()
I dont normally use pu adhesive to install windows skylights etc..I do have another window to remove and reseal and will take extra care when refitting with cleaning off the excess sikaflex before it cures.
