Side Mirror protectors

Or don’t get ones that are the same colour as your MoHo so they stand out more.
Or just drive carefully and be aware of your surroundings ?

Mirror Guards for me. Managed to avoid having to field test them so far, fingers crossed, with some near misses.

I also like to support the man-in-shed kind of small business that the UK excels at.

Noted a Lot of Trucks lately running about with their mirrors bright "dayglo" orange?.

Mirror Guard don’t do them for the Transit Mk 8 but Vancomfort make heavy duty protectors of excellent quality.

Nobody does nuffink for my Velvac mirrors. So when one got a bit totalled, by the time I stopped the other truck was long gone, I just had to cough up the £1000 for a replacement.

I know a lot of money, but there you are, quality mirror for a quality motorhome. Each unit has three mirrors, is electrically operated and heated as well and shiney chrome plated to boot. Unfortunately, despite the arm surviving, I had to have that bit as well. The price included the shipping from the States etc. :gum:

This is interesting as the online reviews for mirror guard are terrible, I personally think they look pretty good but their reviews on Google did put me off.

Blooming heck that's bit a big pair! Is it related to Prince Charles???? Looks like they've fitted long arm mirrors when they should've fitted medium ones.

We had a mirror to mirror coming together with a BMW X5 in France. No damage to my FIAT based wing mirror which had Mirror Guards on. The BMWs mirror was scattered all over the road in a dozen pieces.

We've "tested" our Mirrorguards quite a few times now and I wouldn't be without them. They are actually made of the same material that motorcycle crash helmets are made of. They cost us £120 (actually my mum, as she bought them for us as a joint birthday pressie) and I dread to think what it could have cost us in mirror repairs/replacements.

Exactly my thought too ... when we bought some guards for our previous camper we intentionally went for white ones with reflectors both back and front - the whole point was for other to see them sticking out an hopefully avoid hitting them.

Im off know to find some more presents for the Motorhome, looking at fitting disco lights for the grandkids ??.
Make sure you get the ones operable from anywhere in the world via you wifi.
Anything else would be a disappointment for a person of refined good taste such as yourself

How I wish I was that easy ... you can't allow for idiotic motorhome drivers who come haring down a road and 'panic' when they see a piece of rock jutting out on their side and overcompensate so pull onto your side of the road ...

We used to have a spider living in the mirror of our camper and there appears to be one in our new MH too ... maybe its the same one and he jumped across when they were parked next to each other when we px'd ... here's a little ditty I wrote previously:

I have a little spider
He lives inside my mirror
He seems to enjoy the ride
Showing no sign of fear
I don’t know why he likes it
It can’t be very nice
Especially when I’m driving
Through rain and snow and ice
But he’s been in there for years
And I see him every day
When he pops out to say ‘Hello’
As we travel on our way
Sometimes he likes to dangle
And often ends up spinning
He really must enjoy it though
As I swear I can see him grinning
I hope he stays inside there
May our travelling never end
I know he’s just a spider
But he’s my buddy … my friend

The spider living in the mirror on mine is probably a migrant stowaway from France.

Those clever French spiders know Mirror Guard provides the ultimate travelling spider lair.

My thoughts exactly, which is why she’s called Big Ears
