Has any Funster visited Sibenik recently and could share any recommendations for campsites/aires? Thanks.

Stayed in Sibernik in 2017 at Camping Sani. Details in SFS. Basic but clean and an attentive owner. Nice stop for a couple of nights and very well located for the town. Understand that the price is now around 30 euros per night but I guess everything tourist-related has gone up since Croatia adopted the euro.

We found Croatia , 2 weeks ago cafe/ restaurants about same as UK, we had a Latte in Rovinj, (tourist fishing town )it was 2 Euros each ,cheaper than where we live in UK

Since this thread now looks more like a Croatia site than just Sibenik now, we just arrived in Pula after doing a tour of Istrian hill towns. Motovun stands out but don’t miss the smallest self governing town in the world - Hum. Small but beautiful with a large car park they are happy for you to use overnight for the princely sum of 3.30 for 24 hrs. You also get a nightingale that doesn’t shut up until about 3 am! In Motovun you can’t take a camper to the higher car park, so go in to the lower one, where the buses go, and get the shuttle bus up to the town. He goes up when a tourist bus arrives. We got there about 10 and it was nice and quiet. Walk down from town OK even for oldies.

I was expecting that as well. I was pleased when I looked at the price list for 2022 and 2023 for a campsite we use near Razanac. Very little change at all, given inflation etc. Unlike when we lived in Germany and they switched from DM to €.
