Hi All,

I have checked the forums and cannot seem to find an answer to my problem. I have a Shurflo Trail King 7 (2095-204-113) water pump in my Fiat Ducato. For some reason the water does not stop running once the Truma electric system is switched off. The pump is only a year old and this problem has only arisen after a cold German winter, I emptied all the water from the tanks and pipes before the winter began in 2020.

To add a further issue the boiler does not produce warm water, warm air yes but warm water no. Maybe both issues are connected?

Any help would be appreciated.

Understood. I also leave the taps open then blow down the shower tube which gets the last remaining water in the pipes out. I'm not convinced your tap has split ! How many taps do you have in the van ? Are you absolutly certain the boiler is full of water and if it is you should be able to heat it. If not back to your manaul I would advise, maybe see if any fuses are blow. I assume you can heat your water by gas or electrick ???? Try both and see how you get on.
Phil thank you so much for your advice really appreciated. I will try all of the above and let you know how I get on.

Hi everyone, firstly thank you all so much for your input, really very kind of you all!!

The good news is that the boiler works now and yes it was a schoolboy error and was empty lol.

But.....the kitchen tap still releases water even after the water has been shut off through the Truma control panel. :rolleyes:o_O
It is basically a slow trickle of water that lasts up to about 7 mins until no water runs out of the tap.

I will contact my mechanics tomorrow to see what they have to say.

Dear all, the mysteriousness of it all continues but the problem is solved. My mechanic simply unscrewed the hot water tap for the kitchen sink checked the valve, checked inside could not figure out what the problem was then screwed the hot water tap back on and tried the water again...voila no more running tap! It now works fine, he had no idea, I still have no idea but there was definitely no frost problems.
Thanks all for the support!
