Rally Shrewsbury Showground Bonfire & Fireworks weekend 2nd 3rd & 4th Nov 2018

Kate, sorry to respond late, but could you put us down for 2 hot dogs, please? If we're too late in letting you know, and you've already bought the sausages, I can bring some. :)

Hi,
How many would be interested in hot dogs on the Friday night , we have a few late arrivals on Friday so once everyone is more or less on site. Bill can get Cadac out on our very own VIP balcony. Was thinking time wise about 8pm can always carry on cooking for late arrivals. I just love the smell of sausages and onions cooking on a November night brings back happy memories of when my brother was alive, he always loved family gatherings around this time and start up the barbie.

Will need to make a charge of a £1each to cover costs incurred. Only like the 85%/95%meat sausages. Any monies over will go to our charity for the weekend
So numbers please. ????

Many of you know I had a scare last year and had a tumour removed from my bladder which thankfully was benign. The tumour is growing back and I am awaiting more investigation. This charity was a god send to me I had never heard of bladder cancer. They support so many victims and their families

Great bonfire, fireworks display, Jacobs table, quiz, raffle and chit chat last night at Shrewsbury. Particularly enjoyed arguing the case for full utilisation of Thetford cassettes and the best way to deal with it.:Eeek:

As a pair of rally newbies I'd like to say how much we enjoyed the whole weekend. Good to meet new people and pick a few brains about motorhoming, motorbikes, places to visit and the best pubs in Shrewsbury. We expecially enjoyed checking those out and bumping into other Funsters sneaking a crafty beer!

Many thanks to Kate, Bill, Amanda all all their little helpers who put in a massive effort so that we could soak it all in. These things don't just happen. Well done!

See you soon I hope

David & Sally

Thanks to all who made it a most agreeable time especially @Ambilkate for organising the rally.
Good to meet new Funsters and fear not I will get the pole lights working :D
