Shower is useless????

Your pump is probably a Reich twin, they have 2 motors it's not uncommon for one motor to fail especially if they have been run dry for some time. Your symptoms looks like one motor has failed it can push water to the nearest outlet but the longer run to the shower it can't manage. I've had the same when one motor failed.

Normally a flashing warning triangle on the control panel.
Agree with what Lenny HB says. If you have recently bought the motorhome from a dealer's forecourt it could be that the pump has been left on running dry. People viewing motorhomes often tend to play with the taps etc and it is very easy to leave them running. I know dealers normally turn the electrics off but I used to turn it back on when viewing to see how the lights etc work.

My Hymer had the circular chrome head shown in Post #29 but I replaced it with an Ecocamel head which uses a venturi effect and gives a better pressure and uses less water.

Allanm I wish my pump was half as good as that with the tap wide open!

Fingers crossed the engineer will get this sorted on Sunday.

I now have a shower! :)

One slightly melted pump!

Many thanks for all the support and help here, really appreciated.

Does anyone know where I could get a longer hose for our shower in our Rapido; it's the type where the shower head doubles as the tap for the sink and in theory it serves as a shower also but it's a bit short. Thanks

Try homebase or similar.
