Show us your best homemade levellers.

@Wagoneer

You can get them on EBay just search for Waffle Boards. Had mine about 5 years and been very useful. Got a couple of 8 x 4 blocks and some smaller ones they need to be width of Waffle Boards. You do need to put some support half way along as they do bend but they are extremely strong.

just seen this on Burstner site!!!

I have a set from these guys, by far the cheapest and double up as ramps to get a class 3 mobility scooter into the garage.

We was parked on an Aire in France, while out we saw a chap coming towards us carrying a rock on his bicycle cross bar, it turned out to be the dutchman parked behind us, 😉 he must have been very pleased to find / or steal the wedge to complete his levelling ramp. 😁 Bob.

I'm thinking of cutting a railway sleeper into two and then at an angle to make some decent height Ramps to allow me to underseal my transits rusty chassis / floor. Watch this space!!

Love that this old thread has been resurrected. Since it was started back in July 2018. We have changed vans and succumbed to hydrolic levellers. Wonderful things they are too.

However, we did get some of the sand ladders mentioned in post 64, to get us out of muddy situations.

Broken several big lumps out of mine. Think it's a case of too much torque & too much grip but lumps keep break In g off the tops.
Yes have done the same with ours I don’t use them anymore👍
