For an 18 year old he's great!! Does he find his way ok? How does he manage?Meet Willy, he’s 18 and blind and lives near our cottage and adores getting picked up and stroked.
Always comes and follows the sound of our voices. We make sure to put him down in the same place as we picked him up or he gets confuzzamalated and doesn’t know where he is.
We’re a right soft pair when it comes to him and I have to add details on all deliveries to watch out for the blind cat who sits in the driveway.

He used to belong to the daughter of our neighbours but as she grew up and had a family, divorced, started working, she took Willy to stay at her mums. That was about 6 years ago and his eyes were poor then, but now he’s completely blind. We live in a very rural setting, lots of fields and up a private driveway so he’s safe. I guess he also got to learn his way around before completely losing his sight as he manages really well. He does bump into things occasionally, but all in all, he’s very capable. For an 18 year old he's great!! Does he find his way ok? How does he manage?
