How come so many of these motorhomes have “FUN“ in their numberplate? Did you have to pay extra for it or is it just a coincidence?

over here, you get the number issued but can pay for the right to use another suitable number if available....private or personalised registration

They come as standard on all motorhomes in the uk but some are removed by grumpy owners

Camping Las Palmeras, at Crevillent, about 20 miles south of Alicante and not far from Elche. A regular stopover for us.

It's handy for the motorway and is an ACSI site - €18 euro with a hook-up. Very good loos and showers etc. Nice pool too.
