Giottiline T60

I don’t know if you can hear it clearly on my video but the water pump is really noisy on our Giottiline T60. As we are under warranty does anyone have any ideas before we book it in to be looked at as the dealer is a 4 hour drive away in Antequera.

The camper was only 1 year old when we bought it in November and all parts are under warranty for 12 months so perhaps we should get them to replace it? We have a Giottiline dealer not far from here so we could take it in there first and get them to look first and then we’ll know if it’s worth contacting the dealership to get it sorted (y)
IF and I do mean IF another dealer will even look at warranty work from another dealership, they will only tell you the same, that it is working but noisy. The trick from experience is always have a spare pump (and gas regulator) stashed away in the van as changing it yourself will save a long wait and ruined holiday

That very much sounds like the water pipe near the pump is resting on a cupboard wall or floor.
It's the wood becoming a sounding board.
Mount the pump on rubber and move the pipes away from any furniture board.
Oh ..the video is there, for what use it is, but is hiding in downloads.

We’re going to have another look today when we have a bit more time so we’ll check it out. In the meantime we’ve sent the video to the workshop of the dealer in Antequera to see what they say. They were very good when our leisure battery failed and sent us a new one without question so fingers crossed

We’ve checked the pipes and they are all padded so it’s definitely the pump.

Update on the noisy pump! As predicted the dealership said that after listening to the video it was normal pump noise. Glynn removed the screws and added the little chair leg pads under where the screws go and screwed it back without tightening too much and it is loads better. In spite of the improvement though I will definitely adopt the spray bottle method for night time and do my bit for water preservation owing to the lack of any meaningful rainfall here for the last few months. Having said that I got all excited yesterday as we actually had a few hours of rain here and I didn’t have to water my lemon trees :roflmto:
