Shiny New Bike.

I was, once again drooling over the Foggy Spitfire last weekend. What a lovely toy to have in the garage.

I’ll be honest CCM isn’t the best nailed together bike you can buy.

You could make a Spitfire replica out of an old 644 for not too much money I’d guess :)

When I was 18 I had a Kettle. Now that was a handful :clap2:

I can’t say I rode one more sort of hung on :)

I did rebuild a KH 250 that was interesting to ride. Good for a 100 2 up, I must of been a bit lighter 20 years ago

But it is made Up North. And somewhere I'm sure they said one of them was glued together.

I guess you could easily fake one, but I just looks so FUN on an exhibition stand. Just right for the hills where it is born, on a nice sunny day. I'd probably only use it 2 days a year.

@bigtree and @Richard and Ann

Thanks for the replies.
I had a CCM 404 and found it a little wanting, that ran the Suzuki engine.

I’ve got a CCM 644 which again runs the Suzuki engine.
I just fancy a bit more of a hooligan big but don’t want anything too big :)
The 990 and the 390 side by side, doesn’t look much between them.

Nice, but the pipe! Oh Lord, it must go, and quick. Go discrete... ravel lightly but carry a big stick and all that...

Looks nice. Sure it will go well ...

Autoblipper and quick-shifter?

Fools all of you !
Why not have a SYM 200 like me. Point twist and go. Great for older gits who have back problems and can’t get their leg over.

I think they are supposed to save time ??!

Nothing like rev matching the old skool way on the brakes .... a joy of basic bikes.

I was reading a while ago about a plonker who had to get a breakdown coz his blipper broke.

All that stuff might save you 0.1s on track, but if my ability to use the clutch on downshifts fails, then I'll give my bike away.

390 KTM wouldn't pull a greasy stick out of a dogs arse.. but its a perfect tool to have in the back of a camper.
