Got back from shell island last night , had a great time, weather good, company great and the site is beautiful, couldn't have wished for a better weekend. Thanks to all the funsters for making it possible, See you all next year Mew and Mick

Left today after having my last cuppa outside ambilkates van with all the other funsters. Had a fantastic few days there. So good in fact i am going to do a Arnie. Ill be back. Next week. Hope you are all still there.

just about recovered from Shell Island, lovely place, lovely weather and lovely people......... I did get a little too 'chilled' at the beach...............special thanks to those kind souls that got me back to the van and @Ambilkate for their non stop hospitality

Well what can we say, thanks to Kate for starting it off, Bill for getting out of his sick bed and getting Kate and Amanda there. Brilliant week with great company, dry weather and stunning location. Pauline had the best birthday ever and followed up by getting into her cossie and going into the sea on Kate's birthday along with the rest of the ladies, all very brave girls and done without alcoholic assistance.
As with most funster meets there was alcohol but there were other highlights, Dave, Simon and Phillip for the very tasty fish supper caught by them just a few hours earlier and cooked on the beach on a reclaimed fire pit, marsh mallows for afters.
Thanks to everyone for the great company.

Waited until today to post so that I could let you know that Holly has had her op and although a bit quiet seems ok.
What a " this is not a rally " meet we had at Shell island. The weather was fantastic, the company beyond compare and the hospitality great.
Special mentions for Carol and Eddie who ensured we were all sited ok and looked after the beach fires on our fantastic fire pit "hope it's carefully stashed for next year"
Kate, Pauline and Eddies birthday bash was amazing. What a variety we had on our Jacob's table with the seagulls finishing off what was left. Sorry Kate as you had the early morning job of clearing up.
Kate thank you for the endless teas and coffee's and Bill for making most of them, also Kate a million thanks for starting this thread will be looking out for this next year.

Just got back from Shell Island and would like thank everyone for their hospitality and great whit. This was our first time at any sort of Funster get together and we really enjoyed ourselves

We have left a sunny
Shell Island this morning but we will definately be back it is one beautiful place , we have had a fabulous time with so many funster friends old & new , big thanks to Kate Bill & Amanda for their hospitality and to all who let the secret out after last years visit to this gem , we are travelling for a week before meeting up again with a bunch of funsters in Tenby at our Pre .. Pre Pembery meet to be followed by our Pembery meet ain't life grand , thanks to all for great fun & great company . Even the dolphins gave us a show this morning .

Well I have Internet today thanks to a day card from Dave &sandra giving me one before they left . So I am sat in the cafe using it Joy left this morning highwayman is leaving shortly which only leaves eEd & CArol SUe and ourselves it is so quiet her now x thank you all for sharing she'll island with us xxx

Last year we had a heat wave five weeks..this year we had extremes of all types...BOTH yeRs we had fun, friendship, good food, party times, quiet reflective moments, swimming, walking, dancing, laughter and a terrific bond.

Thank you everyone who made our stay at Shell Island memorable thoroughly enjoyed ourselves being among friends old and new, a shame we had to leave and miss Carols party.

Well the last two funsters are leaving the Island today what a time we have had the Dolphins were there this morning at 7.15 jumping out of the water AManda said they had come to say goodbye . Can only echo what everyone else who came says, thank you all for the Fun, party's, the laughter, swimming in the Sea in September, and just making some lovely memories we can look back on
