Anyone have a formal service schedule guide that would apply to a MY20 160ps 2.3 Ducato?

Ours is 5 next year, and from memory its timing belt change - which seems really early to me - I'm sure our other vans were 10 years?

So do you all do the cam belt at 5y?

I'd assume the tensioners are mandatory, but do you guys also get the water pump changed? Again feels early to replace stuff. And assume its new coolant throughout?

I recall changing the water pump on our first campervan but never the cambelt.... (wp was changeable without touching timing belt; and we had the van from new for 10y.....)

Of course I've asked the garage I use for their advice, and have my own views, just looking for other views to validate :)

On my Peugeot Boxer base I felt it was better mot change belt and water pump at five years as the belt being stationary for long periods would cause it to harden in spots and then cause additional wear to other parts in the pulley system. While there change the water pump as normally supplied as a kit and the additional effort in doing it is minimal at that time.
I used my local trusted garage and had a Gates kit fitted as the parts come with a 2 year warranty and Gates supply most manufacturers anyway.

I have a feeling that on the 2.3 Ducato there is no need to change the water pump but the belt is a must at 5 years.

Thanks so far.
Garage (Fiat pro motorhome specialist who, to date, have done all asked and no issues - including updating ECU....)
They say cam belt is needed.
Not aux belts (on the 2.3)
Water pump is mileage based not time

(I've asked for a bit more detail)

I'm sitting down :D

Cambelt 5 years Fiat stay water pump is OK for the life of the engine. On our last van had the Cambelt changed by a Fiat Professional they changed the auxiliary belts as well.

On 4th van so not a total newbie....
What I don't get is that the service schedule is every 2 years, but the belt is at 5 yes, what are you supposed to do just have the belt done, or have the 6 year service early?

With a service at over 600 quid, just have the belt done or you are throwing away 300 quid

I usually have an oil change done every year and because we always tow a car trailer with our van had the cam belt change at four years as they recommend if engine has had heavy use,I consider towing heavy especially with these newer 2.3 Fiat engines😊
