I need some advice, but it's not MH related, so sorry if this is in the wrong place. In a couple of weeks, I'm cycling from Cartagena to Malaga. I want to take a padded bike bag for my bike on the plane, then send it ahead (it weighs 4kg) to Malaga for the return. My final hotel stop is 120km from Malaga, so I can't send it there. I have looked at UPS and their drop off points, but they seem to need an address at each end. Has anyone out there got any experience of sending parcels in Spain, without an address, that could be of help to me.

Would you clarify as I don't quite understand the problem.
Surely you know where the parcel will have to be collected from and the place to which you want it delivered?

His last hotel stop is 120kms from the airport he is cycling too.He doesn't want to carry a cycle bag that distance on his bike he wants to be able to pick up near the airport ,is my understanding ?

Yebbut, UPS would collect it from the hotel and transport to wherever he wanted to receive it....... his home presumably.

Why not just get in touch with the nearest bike shop to your destination, and ask them to set aside the cardboard shipping box from a new bike for you? Our local shops just chuck them out in the recycling bins - I'd have thought if you explained they'd be glad to help you out.

Thanks for the replies. Shipping from the hotel is risky, if no one is there when the courier turns up to collect, it's a tiny hotel. UPS won't let me ship from one drop off point to another, there has to be a "home" address". The bike box is a good idea Burgo, I might do that, but it's not necessarily reliable, hence I'm trying to figure out using a shipping company.

This company (although wanting to rent you a bike) may be able to have UPS drop off and deliver to airport or at least provide some advice about your dilemma.

I've solved my own problem. Correos, the Spanish post office will let me post it to a box in Malaga.
