Self-contained accommodation and 12 April

I see your point.. but am I bovered? No... we mainly use the C&CC Temporary Holiday Sites, with usually just water and waste on site, we have our own facilities on board so don't begrudge the £10 or £12 pounds a night to stay in some very nice places.
Exactly what I used to do, I didn’t mind paying 10-15£ for a CL but not £30+ for something I didn’t need as like you all facilities on board.
and some people are just tight as cramp and think only for themselves.
Comparing the high street that has been dying for years with major competition to CMC is not a direct comparison.
And we arent saying pay more to stay open, Im saying course Ill still pay my fees and not ask for refunds, as I want you to thrive and continue for my benefit. One of the major clubs has been giving free night stays in some cases too I think.

Looking for a saving of what....A FIVER ? cmon, reaaaly.
Without the facilities you may as well stay on a cl for a tenner as a main site will be just that without toilets/showers...
There’s a lot of companies old and new making a lot of money in this pandemic and a lot because of it.... but my opinion is irrelevant as i think the clubs will make more money in the next 2-3 years then they’ve ever done....

a fiver in my pocket means a lot more to me then in some company, if you have plenty to give away then be my guest, you could throw some my way.... I’d appreciate it more...😉😆

The main advantage of a club site is that you can book online. They should really provide a unified booking infrastructure for CS/CL sites with real time availability rather than just a mobile phone number. That would be transformative for CS/CL sites, I would think.

And there lies the difference with me, the only thing I book when I go away is the tunnel, once I’m the other side I can go anywhere without booking anything for months....👍🏼

That’s how I used to do it. Ferry and then I’d decide to go left or right but never book.
Finding it tricky being in the U.K. not knowing whether you’re allowed to go where the wind takes you.

I believe stay local goes away on 29th March.

Stay at home goes away on 29 March; stay local doesn’t go away until 12 April.
