Self-Amalgamating tape

[:LOL:QUOTE="Minxy Girl, post: 2841679, member: 149"]Just came across this on Youtube ... interesting!

YouTube....Very clever, I like the way you did that Minxy, would have been better if Youhose but near enough:LOL:

Nope ... still busy fettling

It's as hard as moving house, isn't it.

First MH was easy, steady improvements over 6 years or so. But second one, we know what we expect now so 6 years work in weeks. I've had to do a lot of work to storage to match the old Burstner. Remove microwave and turn it into a cupboard. Re-design cupboard by cooker. Re-design stupid old TV cupboard and make into useful storage. Fit TV where we can see it. TV aerial. Solar ( did I mention all of 200W in one panel ). Gaslow ( annoyed, only room for 6kg tanks ). 12V points, there were non in Hab area. Inverter. Bike rack. Nearly there, ferry booked.

... I didn't even think of the name Youtube being related to hoses! :D

Pleased it made you chuckle though! :D2

No 12v other than in cab in ours either but 2 mains sockets! o_O I'm gonna do a thread when I've finished off all my fettling etc so others can see what I've done as it may be useful to them/give them ideas for their own vehicle rather than have it spread on various other threads. It also means that when in the future we change van again (not for a long while hopefully!) I'll be able to go straight to the thread and remind myself of all the work I've got to do!!! :D2

Yes, Swift are very 240V orientated. A double by the sink, one in "lounge" one in TV cupboard and a hidden one for microwave. Also has a single electric hob on the cooker so aimed firmly at the "always EHU" brigade.

Not half! Doesn't feel like 'ours' yet. So far all lights changed (well 15 up to now), table removed but not yet replaced, towbar electrics done, steering wheel replaced with a leather covered one, kitchen tap lever repaired, TV bracket with added 'drop' arrangement to prevent stiff necks, satbox replaced with one with an HDMI socket to do away with unbending SCART, wiring tidied in garage electrics cupboard, carpets replaced in living area with absorbent mats cut to fit. Still to do: solar panels, reversing camera monitor, more 12v sockets, TPMS to install, motor mover to fit to trailer, accumulator to stop pump short cycling .............. and anything I've forgotten. Excellent hobby this motorhoming lark.:):)

I was about to recommend LS-X also. You can use it with a gauze bandage if you want to wrap it around a pipe.
