It wasn't fleabay. That's the best I can do right now.

Amazon sell Isopropyl which is Alcohol based cleaning fluid which will remove the sticky stuff very easy.

So do the local chemist

Me too, but in the H & S granny state we now live in they will not sell it over the counter ( or at least, around here they wont )

But Emmit has got got a firm grasp of the situation and sorted it for me
