My van (Citroen Relay Romahome R30, 2014) has failed it's MOT (major defect) due to a leak on the pump that supplies the fuel atomiser in the DPF (see photo). A new pump was ordered by the garage on 24th June but there seems to be no prospect of obtaining one (although efforts are still being made). Second hand ones are being offered for around £600! If you have one or can put me in contact with someone who has one I would be very grateful. £300 on offer for a new or VG 2nd hand one.
Photo now attached. Apologies to all.

My friend owns this company. Not sure if they could possibly help?

The atomizer blocking is a known issue and can cause the pump to fail through over pressure so you need to make sure the garage have checked out the atomizer before reprogramming any new pump

That's exactly what I thought too. I'll get on to this.

Just wondered if you have sourced a replacement or found another solution? My Boxer chassis MH has just failed it's MOT for the same issue. It took me forever online to identify what the part was.

The end of the story. After a month at the garage it passed it's MOT yesterday. In answer to all those who kindly contributed: I took your advice. I bought a small pump that looked identical but it had 2 wires and the proper one has 3 +, -, Canbus? So, unable to source a replacement, the garage removed the pump, cleaned it and covered and coated it in epoxy resin and it worked! (£16.50 as opposed to £290). The vapouriser was also checked - no blockage. Having looked into it the use of epoxy resin to seal a fuel pump is not a new idea. I might try and find a replacement during the year but that third wire worries me. Thanks again.
