I don't see this feature on the app, ​

I can navigate using Google maps, Apple maps etc .. but where is the integrated sat nav option ?​

Will depend on the map supplier \ format.
These are the standalone sat nav format downloads - https://www.searchforsites.co.uk/download.php
If the inbuilt sat nav uses, say Naviextras, don't think there are downloadable files.

I must be reading it wrong, there is no

integrated turn by turn navigation option..

With a built in route planner its never been easier to find a destination or a stop off on route to your destination.

You can tailor the route based on your preferences and set the route to avoid toll roads, motorways or ferries

The files I linked to are just poi's you load onto the sat nav and you use them just like any other poi on the device. Functionality is the same as pre-loaded poi's.

From their website, it's possible to download all the sites into your Garmin satnavs.

With this you just enter the code number assigned to each site and press go.

Only available for Garmin and Tom Tom i.e. you can integrate S4S onto these systems

So what is the question? You can go to a particular site then choose navigation option or load the poi's to a garmin or tom-tom.

The other option is to click the curly line then navigate. If you are still unsure then contact Ian Curtis via the sfs Facebook group.

I am not unsure about how to use the app..

The curly line points to third party mapping , Google, Apple, Waze, CoPilot, TomTom, Sygic Truck..

It does Not point to an integrated sat nav... as described , there is no such feature .. so it's misleading ..
