On our Bailey Advance, we have Fiamma mounting bars for a bike rack on the rear wall. We have for ages had a small damp problem in the rear corner, and we’re trying to rule out all possible points of water ingress. As the bolts for the bike rack bars go through the wall, it seems sensible to seal them. Has anyone else done that? Is it simply a case of undoing the bolts, seating the bars in a bed of mastic, and re-tightening? (This is what I’ve done with reversing camera, window, etc.) Any advice welcome.
