We’ve got a dog and have/had three kids.
Prior to Moho tho but I can’t abide yapping dogs or screaming miserable kids near me.

We didn’t let our kids misbehave whilst around others and I won’t let our dog yap.

As said maybe the parents and owners need a bit of guidance

Yapping dogs, there’s been dozens all week, plus every single one wants to stop and pee on my pitch outside the hab door, with one taking a dump. He soon got short shifted.

At least the kids don’t do that ……yet, but give it time.

Oh and please bring back smacking, a right good whollop across the backs of the legs should do it…..all in jest you understand

I found a Facebook group last week that is specifically for sites that are adults only and no dogs, there are plenty of sites on there

Portugal and Spain it's dogs barking all night. No-one tells the dog to shut up. Every night

Just come back from a small site in Bassenthwaite. I went to do my normal morning shower etc walked back passed a neighbour...'morning I said' he completely blanked my existence......it's a shame it was my last night or a would of tied the dog up outside the van and then given my boy a litre of coke and his football..... miserable twat

Well behaved children and dogs get my vote.

It’s the parents and masters I would shoot.

We are on a site in Germany close to a Swiss registered motorhome. They have a German Shepard that drags the owners around and barks like a Concorde jet engine.

They are Directity facing the children’s park who are very well behaved having fun.

Granted, screaming kids are bad news when you want peace.
But at least they are human.
Dogs....not human..... not going to secure the future of humanity......don't really understand much except being fed and warm (neither of which they will pay for)...will go with whoever provides this.....have no place in a restaurant where humans go for human food....No-one takes cattle or poultry to restaurants, do they?

I'm pretty sure I have disrupted other humans by having tantrums/strops when I was a child, but I am also sure I have never pissed on someone's picnic basket/chair/ bike. Nor have I sh@t on someone's lawn/ footpath.
I would like to think that no-one has ever had to scrape my sh@t off of their sandals.
Not a fan of dogs....shoot me down dog lovers.....

As a parent and a dog owner I say shoot the parents or owners, I can put up with noisy kids if they’re just playing and having fun as we don’t see enough of that these days, as for happy dogs it’s not their fault so shoot the owners. We have a 15 year old Jack Russell who like to bark , he gets 3 warnings then gets put inside so gets the message, unfortunately he’s got early stage dementia so sometimes just barks at the wall, it can be annoying so we have to distract him with treats or toys.

Dogs for me but then I have two dogs (Basset with a deep bark and a Lab). I personally don't like dogs unnecessary barking and have never encouraged it so they rarely do it or have to. Dogs constantly yapping drives me nuts too. Kids are worse though especially high-pitched screaming or constant whinging. We were on a site where a little angel whined and whinged from the moment she opened her eyes, it was mind numbing and I think the parents must have been wearing ear defenders or had the patience of saints
