Scotland finishing off unfinished walks

We stayed at the Kinlochlewe Benn Eighe visitor centre Friday night. We must have just missed you.
Up at Poolewe this weekend before going off wilding again.
We will be doing Altnaharra in a few days.
Struggling a lot with phone signals on O2 up here. Using C&CC free WiFi at this campsite.

Well done on the climb

Mrs Stagman

A quick update courtesy of the local cafe Wi-fi, waiting for soup

This is Kinlochewe, another dry mainly sunny day :)

Took these on a one mile walk round the village

stayed there Friday night

We have arrived on ‘our’ beach never shared it with so many others, apart from my birthday mini meet a couple of years ago

It’s a grey day but we still love it, much less wind and a bit more sun would be nice though

Just had one of those money can’t buy moments

We were all looking out of the window as the sun set and the tide peaked, a roe deer ran across about 20’ in front of us

Perfect , no photo but an awesome memory

For those that don’t know exactly where we are, this is Newton Farm near Gatehouse of Fleet, approx 5 miles west just off A75

Used to be a CL now classed as a private site, we have quite often had the place to ourselves but usually only come out of season, couldn’t quite believe it yesterday when we arrived and found 9 others on a Sunday night in April

We first came nearly 30 years ago when our eldest wasn’t far off the age of our youngest grandson who has joined us here with Nat and Gary

Tomorrow we end the Scottish bit with coffee and cake in Gatehouse a long established tradition, then head back into England on our way to Chester on Thursday

We haven’t done that many walks but put one big one to bed and set a few memories for future years, it has only been 10 weeks today since we said goodnight to Lola for the last time, seems a flash ago some days and ages ago on others, we have cried a bit, smiled a bit but deep down really enjoyed properly settling some great memories of 10 years of trips to Scotland with Lola

See some of you in Chester and the rest of you in a field somewhere soon hopefully

Lovely Pictures family pictures @DavidG58 , thanks for sharing your Scotland trip with us all. We leave tomorrow after a very frustrating delay, drive up to Ayrshire see the family, then up into the highlands.
Havent got as long as we would like this time, but will do what we can before the end of the month.
Have a great time a Chester, we were there last year, first ever Fun Rally, bit wet:eek:, towed out:D2, but had a great time none the less. We will miss it this year and all the usual Funsters, but cant fit it all into the time we have.
Best wishes.
