Scotland done, France booked, what are your plans for Easter?

Easter: driving to our house in Spain with our grandchildren
Hope it happens, it has been a long 2 years. We had to run home from France in 2020 after the UK made quarantine a requirement so we returned early.

Have sorely missed Europe since, we don’t get to go much or for long but we love it over there.

Crossing over begining of April for about 6 weeks, no plans could end up in France/Spain or Portugal.
Booked Plymouth to Roscoff 29 March 2022 . 180 days the maximum my medical insurer will allow So 40 days in Schengen area then Turkey for 90 days allowing 50 days drive back . 🤞

Do you think 50 days will be enough? :-)

Ferry booked, Poole to Cherbourg at Easter. Weirdly it was cheaper than the tunnel this year !!! Driving down to a cracking little campsite in Venosc, over two days, then skiing in Les Deux Alpes. The tunnel is usually cheaper but with the cost of fuel (£100 at least just to drive to the tunnel and back ) it made sense to go from Poole….literally 3 minutes from home. Also the thought of just driving off, being at home in a few minutes rather than 5 motorways and the ‘lovely’ roads in Dorset was a no brainer.

Off to St Anton on Friday via ferry from Dover to get in some skiing, the back to uk for Easter, the back over to Calais and travelling down to Croatia for 4-5 weeks. May try Montenegro/Albania if I can sort suitable insurance 👍
