I use a Floureon 7” truck gps search ebay

I use a Tomtom truck (6000 series) just type in your dimensions and axle weights and it's good to go. It may send you on a route slightly longer than you would like but it's only responding to the dimensions you input.
Have one in the moho and have one in the 44t artic. I've tried Garmin but wasn't impressed. Google maps I dont think can be adjusted to accommodate different speed restrictions of the size of the vehicle, so route planning/timings are not very accurate.
The Tomtom I have found to be bang on with timings of journey with the traffic updates. I've no experience with manufacturers fitted units so cant comment.

I bought an Xgody 715 in 2018, it works ok on routes and I did like the big screen. They emailed me a map update but neither my desktop or laptop recognise the device over USB.. so I either soldier on or recycle ..

I think in future I might go for Waze on a 7inch tablet...

Any advice on either subject welcome...
