Dead easy, there should be a brochure with the satellite which shows the footprint and angle of elevation of the satellite depending where you are ( about 25degrees in UK) Turn TV and satellite receiver on and roughly align at about 142 degrees direction and 25 degrees elevation, there should be a green marker on the base of the cranking plate which is about 25 degrees then set receiver to show signal strength and just tune up down left right a bit till signal strength shows good signal. With a bit of practise is quicker than self seeking! Just remember to lower before driving off!
All depends on how far south you are but if you have a multi sat receiver then retune to intelsat 901 (0r 2) can't remember which one and you can get BBC itv etc in Spain but not all the freeview channels There are lists on the internet of satellites and settings for tuning in
You will find it easier with a sat meter as the signal strength meters on the receivers are often slow to respond so move the dish and "whoosh" you are past the bird. Intelsat @27.5 West is quite hard to find, best to go to Hispasat @ 30West and back East a bit to locate it. A good meter will save lots of swearing and frustration...
