596 can I ask what accommodation your in-laws stay in for the six weeks, do they bunk up with you or rent caravan ?
Surprising to me that they can't be tempted to look at other holiday options at their age ?

They have the same fffing fold down caravan they have had for the 41 fffing years they have been on the same fffing site on the same fffing pitch under the same now very large fffing tree with the same fffing routine every fffing day for 6 fffing weeks. The problem is you meet people and make good friends, these people keep going back and you get sucked into this fffing vortex that the outlaws are in, me I don't like people so easy to just walk away but I go for my wife so she can spend time with her parents.

there really is some horrible places in the eu. best many stop going there
come to cornwall hand over all your money aand valuables at the border.
but remember ladies can pay in a different way.

We have:
  • CO and smoke detectors above the fridge which is fairly central (plus its the only place they would go as we don't have many flat surfaces!)
  • A fire extinguisher and blanket on the side of the kitchen unit by the hab door so they can be reached from inside and outside
  • Emergency blanket (the foil type) in washroom
  • Extensive first aid kit for us and the dogs in the under sink washroom cupboard
  • Medicines (dogs and us) in the upper washroom cupboard
  • A high viz jacket in the cab and hab door pockets so whichever door is used there's one to hand (will be adding 2 more so there will be 2 in each door)
  • Dog leads with flashing fluorescent collars under the passenger seat and 'slip' leads by the hab door
  • Torches in cab glove box, hab door and on shelf above rear bed (we take lots of spare batteries too)
  • 2 warning triangles easily accessible in garage
  • Spare wheel in garage with jack & tools (easy to get at)
  • Collapsible spade, 2 lots of tracks (bread crates ones) and grip mats in case we get stuck
  • Tow strap and 'eye' in side locker (easily grabable!)
Probably other bits I've forgotten about too!
