Sad News. RIP Pete

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments, and thanks to Jim for starting this thread.

Those who are in a similar situation, know how awful this is, and those of you fortunate enough to still have your partner, give them an extra hug today.

We really thought Pete would recover, and sold our larger Motorhome, and ordered a bespoke 6 metre panel van conversion, one that I’d be happier driving, and, it gave him a focus, personalising it, whilst going through all the various treatments he dealt with. However, as I’m on my own, I have decided to call it a day and so the van is now for sale. (If anyone is interested, please send me a private message, I know how crazy the market is at the moment).

We have lived this lifestyle for 15 years and loved every minute of it. We were also delighted to be there when Jim took the bull by the horns, and started Motorhome Fun.

I will still check in on this site, regularly, it’s about much more than Motorhoming, it’s a fabulous community.

I wish you all safe travels.

My heart goes out to Di and R.I.P Pete.

I am so sorry to hear this news.

There are no words that can help - I don't know what you are feeling as everyone's grief is different but I can send all my love to Di and the family.
