It's now only 20GB roaming. I've cancelled. Not sure what to do now.
This is a shame as RWG have been great for the last 6 or 7 months I've been using them. Not sure 20GB will be enough for more than a couple of weeks away. What other similar options exist? I think Smarty have a 12GB cap fair usage cap. Will it be a case of getting a local sim once you arrive in a particular country or are there any other viable options here in the UK?

popit mobile 100gb for ÂŁ25 a month rolling contract
only proviso is you activate the sim in the UK about 6-7 days before leaving
you can use all your data abroad

I also binned the RWG data sim after the 20gb limit which was a shame as used it for 2 months away without issue.
Thanks to someone on here sharing this we are getting one of these, turn it off and on as you need it without a roaming cap.

Or IQ Mobile - annual fee of ÂŁ20 for a data sim, and then buy packs of 100GB for ÂŁ20, all of which can be used in the EU. Packs last a month, but you can buy another if you run out. Worked out better value than Popit for us.

Thanks guys. Anyone used IQ mobile abroad and have any opinions to share on how it performs?

I use it a lot in France, Spain and Germany, as well as the UK when I'm back over there. We get full 100gb roaming with no issues at all, even when running 2 devices at the same time. You buy a sim for ÂŁ0 for a year. Then you add on as you need it. 100gb is ÂŁ20 per month. The month starts the day you buy the bolt on. So, if you buy 100gb on 15th May, it's vaild until 15th June.

I have just got back from 3 months in Spain and used IQ mobile with no problems streaming on firestick and it went live and hour after paying for another month. It does say in t&c that it can only be used for max of 3 months at a time in EU.
Cheers Cris 🍻

IQ Go. 100gb for ÂŁ20.

You buy the sim for ÂŁ20 for a year, then buy a bolt on of 100gb for ÂŁ20 (valid for one month) whenever you need it. If you buy on 15th May, it's valid until 15th June. You can use for 3 months maximum before needing to use it again in the UK.

Buy your sim here

Then buy your bolt on here

does the IQ go only work in a router ?????
I tried mine in my Samsung when I got it and it worked in that, but I used it in a tp link router.

Since I was 18.... 1996....
I just cancelled my RWG phone and data sims and moved to Tesco and IQ for the van wifi.

My daughters phone in particular on RWG has been problematic all the time the last few months.

This is the reply I got when enquiring about the IQ go sim , had asked if it was 90 days twice a year as Brexit allowance.

HI, It's 90 days in a rolling year, not a Calendar year. I.e. if you buy and use Mar 24 to Mar 25 that would be the 90 day rolling year period.
