I had the same email from them, RWG used to work ok, so will try them again unless IQ mobile can beat it.
must admit, RWG customer service is pretty useless. never get a reply.

I liked RWG when they started before reduction of roaming data.
Sounds ok but 100gb for £30 seems a bit steep

It the operators have moved the goal posts. We are going to Portugal later this year and can get Portugal internet for 90 days for about 130 Euros unlimited.

It says on their website it includes minutes and SMS so I assume it’s not just a data sim but a normal phone sim

100Gb when abroad is our target allowance, as we will generally use about 50 to 70Gb and like a bit of leeway. 30.00 is a bit steep but the alternatives are a faff, wish it has a bit of UK data as could then setup prior to EU use.

Is it a bundle that can be added to any RWG sim?

I used a phone sim from them in a router, no issues.

However, it didn’t work twice when abroad as they didn’t activate it.

The awful service and dropping data allowance meant I left. :-(

I guess it's not a UK sim so you won't be able to stream BBC or the like without going down the VPN route.

In France and probably elsewhere you can get better deals. I suspect they are just re-selling a local sim card.

That’s the way I read it as well. Having blown out on the decent EU allowance they previously offered, which included U.K. use as well, they’re trying to get some of their lost market share back.

I’ll continue to wait to see what IQ Mobile come up with.

Why not just buy a SIM in the country you are visiting. More data and less cost. Our last one from Lebara was €25 for unlimited everything and gave a 30GB allowance outside of Spain.

100GB for £30 is the same as Tesco (PAYG rocket pack) with the advantage that it’s a UK SIM (so you can watch UK TV) and you can use it in the UK. I can’t see why you’d go for the RWG SIM.

Having used RWG , I definitely wouldn't recommend them. I'm still owed money from 18 months ago . Phone and email messages go unanswered. Avoid.....
