It's lovely when you experience the real genuine Berber hospitality, great people

Two very nice ' understated' car carrying motorhomes at Tiznit.

I love the look of that Frankia (except the side windows, they are pants, why do they still use them, they look awful, nearly as bad as the stupid paint round the front side windows on a Carthago liner🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️)

We must gave been here during Ramadan on previous trips but had no idea how onerous it is! They're not supposed to even drink water during daylight hours, and then they can only eat at night. It must be really bad for their health.

They can drink water if they are suffering I was told the other day…🍻

Also only from 18yrs old and the women only do a shorter time because they bleed as I was told by a Moroccan…😳

Are you sure they didn’t say it’s good for you to fast 🤭

Wouldn’t do me any harm lol
Fasting is quite a popular way for losing weight and improving health generally now. Lots of people doing intermittent fasting such as 5 2. It's really beneficial to gut health to give it a rest so it can repair itself.

I have to ask what motorhome is this looks like niessmann or RMB are the seats been recovered ?
I wish!!
It's a 1992 Hymer B694 pictured here in sunny Albania unlike Morocco where it is pouring down.

It is being totally re_ upholstered.

It was done by Regal Furnishing in 2011 for £2000. It was an excellent job and has lasted very well despite a lot of use but we've decided it's time for a change.

It's being done here, together with lots of extras and some remedial work for £800
We've been given a tour of some of his work here on site and outside and inside his workshop and are now confident of an excellent job.

insha'Allah

Where are you? Its Ok in Marrakech but we've been holding going north because of forecast. Spain weather looks awful all week

That’s a lovely site what’s the name?
It's really fantastic.
€20 a night.
Swim, boat, cycle, cheap bar, excellent cheap restaurant. ( You know a campsite restaurant is good when it's always full of usually cheapskate motorhomers)

Moved on from Merzouga, I should have known being in a sand pit is not going to go down well, only 30ft from the toilets and it takes me 10 minutes and exhausted by the time I get there then I have to get back.. not good, thought the sand might be packed a bit but no…frustrating…
Also got some bad news from home as my brother is not good so can’t really think straight… looking into going back early but it will mean Cintia will not have been out of the uk for six months but doing a little research last night it may be possible…🤔

Long drive today and went over the mountains and parked up in a service station and cafe/restaurant and will stay here for the night near Meknes… fair bit of snow around and rain most of the time, going to go to ocean blue and probably stay there until 1st April..

Saw the monkeys and had no idea they were on this route..
