Ive broken my buggy . Coming back from lunch on the piste tracks this afternoon and all of a sudden got a severe vibration under load. Limped back part way but then got a tow. Looks like the differential mounting has broken. Got to find a garage with an arc welder tomorrow

Informative thread this, When we do Morocco though it won’t be constant travelling, that is not relaxation. We like to travel then dump it on an Aire, Stellplatze, cheap site for 3 or 4 days, with some good grub and a few beverages. Then move on, but only travel 60-100 miles a day.
We used to laugh at some of those Motorhome tour itinieries, a nice leisurely 327 mile drive today

he’s so anti Spain that his satnav () simply won’t let him go west

We’re here now it Spain with beautiful blue skies and sunshine, fantastic friendly people and even better company (Mick and Ruth)

I get it that Morocco extends the 90 day bollox but we’re quite happy in Spain and I don’t think we’ll ever see it tbh

Hopefully we’re meeting up with Just smiffy Gary and Cintia somewhere in Spain and having a good old chinwag and he’ll fill me in with the Morocco escapades they’re on atm

Anyway wonder our man Smiffy is getting on with his van painting negotiations, I've seen him in action and I thought I was good at bargaining but he could show all of us how to do a deal!
The upholstery boy at Atlantic park was practically in tears by the time the deal was struck!

We walked up around the town today looking at the various garages and speaking to people having work done, the large garage where a lot of people go where they spray anything and everything outside looked a shambles and most of the people wouldn’t know a good job if they actually knew what their van looked like as most were probably stoned… the coherent ones I spoke to where indifferent to the quality of spray job they’ve had so I’ll give that one a miss, the other popular one is, well… popular as it was very busy with lots of vans being worked on in various stages, most were happy with the jobs being done but complaining it was taking a long time, from what a saw the paintwork looked ok…
I got talking to someone about another garage in the back roads and saw some paintwork that they done and it was metallic silver and it looked very good so I went and had a chat with the garage where “George” his tourist name was he said spoke good English and made an appointment to come down to the parking and give me a price… they were only working on a few vans too so

Well he turned up on time and we discussed what work will be done and basically the whole of the front of the van, the roof down to the bumper, undercoat metallic and lacquer but I also wanted the whole van washed and machine polished afterwards..

He called another bloke who came down within 10 minutes and they discussed it and gave me a price in euros…

€700

Got him down to €450 so for around £395 I’ll hopefully get a good job done as I said if I’m not happy with it I’m not paying and surprisingly he agreed and said if it’s not right he’ll work on it until it is or I don’t pay, wether I’ll get out of town alive will be another thread…

So I’ll go to them tomorrow

Yes, although there are plenty of hotels here I’d like to keep them on their toes… plus it’ll save me 15dh a night on parking fees…

Well while you're all on your jollies in the sun still. We're back in the UK and it's minging! It was lovely to see my Mum today though and how happy she was with the lovely leather bag I got her in Marrakech. Came home with lots of goodies to remember the trip by. Lots of lovely honey, gorgeous new season olive oil from Granada and some stunning wines from Bot. Keep soaking up that sun and spare a thought for us
