Being totally honest here. Every single time someone makes me a coffee that they have to faff about with ground coffee , filters. Coffee pots etc etc etc it's been borderline rank .

Give me a decent instant coffee anyday . I drink this stuff

Go back about 20 years and there were 10% of the coffee shops that there are now .. its still the latest fad , like smoking , vaping and carrying bottles of water around.


All nonsense and a clue that people have too much disposable income.


Another bad habit from America...the home of junk food and ridiculous fads.

There's no doubt instant coffee tastes very different to any other sort of coffee. Just a matter of what you're used to.
We used instant for years without problem, wouldn't have it now.

They do x Ray them and they must get amused at all the Shite we Europeans drag over there with us. I'm curious how much the x Ray can make out.

I get x-ray'd most trips at calais on the way home, I had a bag (15kg) of dog food between the fronts seats and they specifically asked if that is what it was, so from that I think they have a pretty good idea.

Bit late for this trip but maybe carry a foot or so of lead flashing. Can be moved wherever required

If you had a box about a 2ft cube, partitioned the bottom 1/3 for the drone, lined the lid with lead flashing and chucked some old 35mm film canisters in the top as they were always thought to be at risk of x-ray machines, you could probably blagg it, hiding the drone from break ins and protecting the film from x-ray, you may need to carry a 35mm camera too I guess.
