Run to the sun….

What’s the name of the park up?
Please
I don't do remembering names of camp sites and places like so many on here.
But i am sure someone will be along very shortly to remind me where we stayed.:xThumb:

Sorry smiffy but I do have a wee chuckle at your posts when you say I've been out for a walk today🙈 ,sorry I know you will take the comment in the spirit it is indented 👍
You need some churros for that hot chocolate 😁.
Cheers Cris 🍻
Aye his legs never get tired

Drove from Ronda to a small aire not far away in a small village today and it was a mountain rd with lots of hairpins and big drops, quite a few rock slides so Cintia was very anxious, I asked her to take some pictures but she said NO..! concentrate…😆
And won’t let her tight grip on the armrest and door slacken….😂

She seriously thinks I’m just going to go straight on at a bend or the road or mountain will collapse or there’s going to be a landslide….🤷🏼‍♂️

No where to stop for me to take pics so you’ll have to make do with arrival pictures 😎

That really annoys me sometimes Garry, ie, despite being qualified, the passenger refuses to contribute in any way towards the driving responsibilities, yet deems it necessary to continually comment on potential hazards (which I have already observed and dealt with mentally, seconds before), but am now having my attention to further hazards interrupted by their observance of those I have just dealt with. :swear2:

When I am driving 44 x Tonne Artics, or 74 x seater Double Deckers, I don't suffer the same distraction...............as I'm always on my own. 🤷‍♂️

Cheers,

Jock. :xwink:

Gets on my wick too, I usually say something tactful like do you want to drive otherwise quit the commentary. Often stops her for as long as 5 minutes.

It is distracting JockandRita jock and I do tell her it can make me nervous but she’s just not used to this environment as the Amazon is mostly flat…😆

I did tell her she should sit in the back with the quilt over her…😂

No matter how much I reassure her and that I’ve driven 1000’s of miles on roads like this and am carful and a bit slow so I can see the view too….😳😎🤣

For info….

My £20 a month Tesco clubcard contract unlimited everything on O2 has been brilliant 5g everywhere even up mountains like I am now, only had 4g a few times since I’ve been out, my iPad and Cintias phone has always been hotspoted to it and over 200gb a month used… firestick also hotspoted to my phone for watching tv occasionally…😎

I am with Scintia on this Just smiffy know what caused my fear too, am not too bad if i am driving, need some more hypnotherapy. Can't go to sleep when a passenger as waking up on a Blind bend was one of the causes (passenger not driver before any of you start)

We are on Tesco / O2. It’s superb for travelling in Europe. We use it for the TV and never had a problem.

I don't recommend Just smiffy wears a blind fold while driving.
I don't know might improve his driving.

Now using ID mobile it's on Three in the UK which I've never rated for roaming but it's been brillant.
Nearly everywhere we went in France, Spain and Portugal we had 5g even little villages.
They have really rolled 5g out.
UK is so far behind & Germany is even worse.

Me and the missus pay £10 a month for each of our sims with Tesco unlimited and like you certainly fill our boots when travelling in Europe !!

I agree UK is behind on 5G but Germany was really poor on any sort of signal in so many places. I didn’t expect it of a country that makes so much good quality kit. They were technologically behind in quite a few ways.

Had a walk around the village today which I must say has a large train station, Cintia went for a paddle and yes it was cold.
Then a drink and a bit of lunch in the local bar which is well attended, there is another bar that’s inside these train carriages the other side of the tracks… heading for the coast of Estepona tomorrow for Christmas….🍻😎

Well what can I say but I had the best road ever today, I’ve driven in a lot of Europe and some spectacular views and roads but today takes the biscuit the drive down along the A369 then onto the A377 down towards Estepona was something else, full of greenery and winding roads and a view around every corner.
Fortunately as always these roads are fairly quiet and driving carefully and slowly I managed to get Cintia to take some pictures but as always these pictures definitely do not do the scenery justice, it was eye watering in places…
