Run to the sun….

Some of my pet hates, push button lights on timer, broken / dangerous seats and no emergency pull cords.

The worst place I have found for missing or tied up cords is the hospital. I always report it and if nothing done by the following week write to Patient Experience and Estates. No accessible emergency pull cord can be the difference between life and death.

Can you not report it to PALS anymore? 🤔

PALS is now "Patient Experience" and part of the complaints team so if you are lucky they might look at the issue within 2 months.

This is NHS Borders so they have no idea about England.

I think you are on the wrong thread.

Last time I was there, Camping Eden was rammed packed to the gills and I ended up just up the road at the motorhome parking area which is actually a lot closer to everywhere, restaurants promenade, old town etc and it was spot on for a few days plenty of room 👍.... this is it

Las Vegas, 3rd last of the season,

6.201

That’s how long the Las Vegas Strip Circuit is in kilometres, making it the second-longest track on the entire calendar. If it wanted to take the top spot, it would have to find a few more city blocks to loop around to get close to Spa-Francorchamps’ 7.004km distance.

2200

With lights out at 10pm (2200) local time in Vegas, this is comfortably the latest-starting Grand Prix of the season. The next closest are Saudi Arabia and Singapore, which both start at 8pm local.

17

The Las Vegas Strip Circuit features 17 turns, six to the right and 11 to the left. It’s one of nine anticlockwise circuits we visit in a season, which includes all three stateside circuits.

33.333%

An Argentine racer has been on pole in Las Vegas 33.333% of the time… OK, OK, this might be a heavily skewed statistic as there have only ever been three F1 races in this city. The first came in 1981 when Carlos Reutemann took pole for Williams at the 1981 Caesars Palace GP. All eyes on you, Franco!

112

The run from pole position to the Turn 1 braking point is just 112m, making it the second shortest of the year. Do you know which track has the shortest run to Turn 1? The answer is at the bottom of the article.

82

The 2023 Las Vegas GP produced 82 overtakes, the most of any circuit during its debut race and the most of any dry race last season. Only the Dutch GP was able to boast more passes last season.

1.9

The run from Turn 12 to Turn 14 takes drivers down Las Vegas Boulevard past all the famous hotels and casinos, but they’ll hardly have time to take a look. Why? This section of the circuit is 1.9km long and is taken entirely flat out, with cars hitting 350 km/h (217 mph).

10°

That’s how low the air temperature could get in Celsius (sorry America) during track running during the 2024 Las Vegas GP weekend, roughly 50° Fahrenheit. Click here to read more about the coldest races in F1 history.

12

The Las Vegas Strip Circuit became the 12th track to have held a World Championship round in the USA when it joined the calendar last year. The sport has also visited Sebring, Riverside, Watkins Glen, Phoenix, Long Beach, Caesars Palace, Dallas, Detroit, Indianapolis, Austin, Miami and Las Vegas… but you knew all those already, didn’t you?

From my team news (y) ;) :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

So now parked the other side of the castle in a carpark right on the beach, a few others here for €4.60 for the night, popped out for a little walk and had some chicken and chips for dinner and a soft drinks with a grand total of €13.98..🍻

I’m surprised at so many of you being attracted to camping Eden, with all its facilities.
We stayed at the cheap aire at the seafront, Els Daus, a perfect location for the beach and castle.

We stayed at Area La Brisa - great site about 15mins walk from the sea front.
Search out the El Salabre bar in the old town. We spent 2 great nights there - and as a bonus, they serve Negroni's made with Campari (y)
And take cover when the birds take to the air !

Closed for the whole of November….

Less Freedom every year over that side of the Channel it would appear, I wonder if the locals are complaining about the way their taxes are spent in these times of austerity? 🤔

Where Garry is and the closed off aire?

Never been, but I presumed it was normally open in November +, from what I read on here, more of them are converting from being free to payment?
🤔
It was always a paid aire!
