Well we are leaving tomorrow and working our way back, will stop at asilah for the night then onto the ferry port and stopping there for the night to get the morning ferry to Algeciras then work our way up to Santander to get a ferry to Plymouth, hopefully being back within two weeks…

Had a call from my brother last week and he has finally had he’s prognosis, he has stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has spread to his lungs kidneys intestines and gut lining…

So he’s not good and has been told his life expectancy is short… been getting my head around it since and decided I need to get home… so that’s life, he seems ok,ish but putting on a brave face and we’ve been having a few laughs through teary eyes, we’ve always talked straight to each other so we know what’s coming and he’ll make the most of it…👍🏼

Will still post about this trip along the way when I can…🍻

The ferry was fairly quick but I had a mishap on there….

We were sitting in the comfy seats with these metal fold down foot rests that hangs down from the seat in front not that I was using it… I went to get off and slide over to my wheelchair and the seat cushion slid forwards from the ships seat and I fell down trapping my left stump under this footrest thing so all my fat weight was hanging from my trapped stump but I managed to lift myself and free it then fell out on the the corridor floor mutton and jeffing and doing the dance of the dead fly in front of everyone…😳

Got this big welt mark across my stump and now it’s ballooned up and painful… not funny but makes me chuckle now..😆😂🤣

Seems to be a few days of mishaps… went shopping in Lidl and forgot trolley so wizzed back out the exit and the pointy plastic barriers closed and I went straight into one….😡🤬🤬 pointy bit went into my chest be the side of my moob and did it make me yelp…🤬 a few choice words to myself were in order and throughly gave myself a rollicking…

We went and had a Chinese wok after shopping and it was great, eaten far too much again but the food was great and plenty of choice, a few pictures of what I remembered…

Three of us last night on the park up behind Carlos Greengrass garry55 and a quick chat and discovered we’re all going to the boat marina aire at Gibraltar and that’s where we all are today.

Also had another funster Mr Dog come and introduce himself with his good wife and their lovely hairy dog so at least 4 funsters here, that’s getting on for a rally isn’t it…🤔😆😂

Weather is lovely and looking good across Spain for the coming week so anyone down here is getting some decent weather for now, I know it’s not been so good lately…
Will walk into GiB tomorrow get a few essentials and no doubt perfume and aftershave will be amongst them…😏

Then will start wondering our way up through Spain to Santander…☀️😎

Got a moroc telecom 7.5gb card and some dirhams around €40 worth if anyone’s going over or for next year if interested…🤔

The thing about small vans is that when you wake up early and all you want to do is get up and have a cuppa… and we all know waking the bear out of hibernation next to you is not a good idea…

So you end up with the brightness turned down on your phone and you kind of feel guilty that your having a secret conversation with someone on your phone….😆😂

I suppose I’ll nod of again soon..😂😎

Get a dog, 🐶 great free alarm system and an even better excuse to get up and take him for his call of nature, just blame him! 🤣🤣

That’s the story of my life & wife 😊 , I’m awake at 5-6 am every morning sometimes 2-3 am , my mind is over active “too many things going on “ ,I’m lucky my bear is a teddy bear , when on hols in the MoHo after about a week I start to actually wake at 8-9 am ,
I’m just finishing building a new house ( downsizing) & got an offer for our old house last night so might manage some extended fun in the sun this year 😁

We left Tiznit after three weeks. It was a good place to spend Ramadan.

It's a large town and there were two cafes and a restaurant open. The souks and markets were all open and busy . There's lots of beautiful open park areas.

The campsite was 90 MAD with electric (£7.25) right in the middle of town

There was absolutely NO stray dogs. Following incidents last year they have ALL been dealt with.

As a result, the Moroccan Association for Human Rights in Tiznit urged the municipal council and local authorities to "assume their responsibility to put an end to this threat," requesting "the provision of the necessary equipment and logistical tools to capture stray dogs and organize patrols in the city to preserve the physical safety of citizens."..........


There was almost no litter

Yea those plants you asked me to keep safe for you in my van at customs in Morocco are still very healthy there's just a funny wee smell of them... 🤪
