Lynne and i have aranged the use of a rally feild for this weekend, Thursday, April 28th to Monday May 2nd.
There is water and dump facilities on site, no EHU. £5 per night per vehicle.
The camp site is about 5 miles from Stratford on Avon and about 8 miles from Evesham.

Without yet checking my social diary, I feel I might be able to attend this Funsters´ meet... but I have a worry...

...will everyone be parked all together or could the people (like me) who are not in anyway the slightest bit interested in the wedding or anything to do with it be in a separate corner? :Rofl1: :Rofl1:

Does this mean you're not attending that party at that big house in London that day? I bet you turned them down just because they were serving vol-au-vents instead of FB pies didn't you :Rofl1:
 
Do the CL site rules apply to the rally field ?
 
JJ- you can park with and where you want. we will all be enjoying the weekend for what it is.........A FUNSTERS MEET!!!
If you choose to celebrate or not is entirely up to you!!!

Hi ya Cheyne and thanks for this. Can you confirm that Kids can come? if so, could you put us down as possibles? Can't gauruntee anything at the moment due to Nikki's non work commitments :BigGrin:

Children and dogs are all welcome .... they will be the sole responsibility of their caring adult at all times!!!! Dogs should be kept under control and children on leads!!

It is a basic field and does not have roller coaster, fun fair or arcades... it has grass of the green variety!:Rofl1::Rofl1:

It is planned to have a Funsters Family meet and that includes all ages:thumb:

As well as children and dogs and responsible adults there will be a warm welcome to any fairies, pixies, elves, dragons, aliens, goblins and potato heads:Eeek:! and of course Funsters!
 
No Roller Coaster but we could have a Fray Bentos Pie Tin rolling contest and a "Best Potato Head" character competition...

Two things are worrying me about this thread/meet...

Firstly, inaccuracies... it will be a Fray Bentos Pie Tin (full) ROLLING contest... not throwing (against health and safety regs) and secondly...

...I notice that one of the organisers is posting at 06.45... I hope that is not the time people are expecting to get up at this Funster Meet...:Eeek: :Eeek: :Eeek:

Worry not fine sir!!!

The fb pie tin rolling is throwing, just disguised for h & s reasons. Lynne as our h&s officer has risk assessed and come to the conclusion that if any one gets hit they were in the wrong place!!! :Rofl1: But hard hats are available!!

And as for the posting at 0642, that was me and i had just got IN from work. If any one wants to get up that early is there choice, but better keep the noise down as i will be sleeping!!:Rofl1:




On a serious note: If anyone is wanting to attend but worried about running out of power, I have a large genny available.

If anyone needs power for medical reasons we can arrange for ehu although this will be at a cost.

A simple observation (fed up with h&s copping the blame for everything) JJ it was you, yourself and only you that suggested Fray Bentos Pie Tin 'ROLLING' contest!!!! hereafter referred to as the FBPT (Fray Bentos Pie Tossing) contest ... the finer point of throwing v rolling can be debated at length .... though I believe throwing would be more fun! again ... (H&S hat on) hats will be available and all entrants will be solely responsible for themselves and their own stupidity .... I have enough being responsible for my own stupidity!!!

Stupidity is not a pre-requisite for the contest as lessons will be provided for those that still have common sense!!!!

A 'Funster' camp is more exciting!!!!!

for anyone not understanding the H&S thing I am the 'elf 'n safety person what broke her neck and then went up and fell off a ladder!!!! do as i say not as i do!!!!!
