Rockwood Regent For Sale

Thanks Keith. You don't have to do the electrics though?

No I would not be spending big money

Thanks Keith

Geo

But you get a 'free holiday' if you stay a year by avoiding import tax?

If you are going to get a free year in the US just from the import tax saving I think you are looking at quite an expensive RV  You could buy Rocky for about the same as the cost of living a year in the USA and not have to worry about the flights etc :Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:
Good luck whatever you decide to do....

You are quite right, you do not have to do a full electrical conversion, but I have seen for myself some of the "home" converted coaches out there. Little yellow site transformers in a locker??? Not for me I'm afraid  Nevertheless, some form of electrical conversion will need to be done to accept 230 volts into a vehicle which is designed and built to accept 110 volts.

Hi Brenda
I have sent you a couple of pics by email. I can go out into Rocky tomorrow to find out all the info you required and also take some pictures for you, I'll have to give it a good clean first, grass still in there from York  and then I will send them by email to you.

Keith

Hi Brenda
I checked the rating plate and the only real value on there is GVWR 14800lbs. In the vehicle handbook it suggests about a 2000lb payload so that is equivalent to 14800 lbs = 6713 Kgs and 2000 lbs = 907 Kgs. I would say that the payload therefore is almost 1 tonne.....
I have put up a load of photos Link Removed and I hope that they will give a good idea of the layout of our RV.
If there are any other questions, and I am sure there will be , please feel free to contact me and ask away. Rocky will be available for viewing at almost anytime except this weekend (because we will be at the Opening Meet) so please contact us to make any arrangements necessary
I hope this helps

Keith

Don't need to be jealous Debbie, it didn't look that good when we bought it  Several £000's have taken care of that though :Rofl1:
You can have it if you really want it...... (Oh that is the title of a song isn't it????) It is really inexpensive for what it is, and I don't think it will hang around for long, although we have not really advertised it yet, we do have some interest already  You are welcome to view it at the weekend, but you can't sleep in it unless you bring a big bag of cash with you

Keith

Keith if I had any money what so ever I would jump at it, I know you and Sharon have looked after it, and it is a beautiful RV, we are just financially not in the position to go for it, but I would recommend it to anyone that is

How about £100 a month, for ever and a day.......

Hi Debbie
I know, I was just joking with you
I want a really nice GBM Landau that someone on this site has for sale, but........................................................................ MONEY..................... If we had the cash it would definately be ours.......

Just to let you know Brenda, I have replied to your last email, I hope you received it ok? I also hope that you liked the pictures that I have posted on here?

Hi Keith & Sharon

Kinda sad to see your selling and moving on. After all, it was your rv that introduced us to american rv's and probebly got me and Sally all excited about them. I still remember sat about in your rv, Sharon feeding me pizza and lots of us all chatting and having a good time. rv's are perfect for socialising!

But there is the upside of selling and that upgrading to something nearer the layout you'd like. oh the excitement of getting a new motorhome! :thumb:

Best of luck with the sale. Have you thought about putting an advert on ebay... i've sold 2 motorhomes via the interest ebay has brought. It gets your advert out to lots of people for minimum outlay.

I am going to guess have you bought a 1999 Winnebago Itasca Sunrise 32ft?

Or am I miles to early to be guessing?

No, I reckon its a Pusher from Travelworld 32ft on an Oshkosh chassis, am I warm?
