Ripe insurance quotes

Hi just tried to get an online quote for my2005 autocruise motorhome with Ripe but was informed that because we had a cruise control fitted they would not give us a quote, sounds odd i emailed them an was told that the insurers do not tell them why.

Very odd. Does that mean they won't cover 90% of motorhomes?

I'd Ring round a few other insurers, try Adrian Flux and comfort maybe.

they obviously think you will put it into cruise control, while you are in the back, on the loo or making a brew

Additionally, any non factory upgrades required to have fitted by a professional!! I Think we've all seen some of those upgrades.!!

I now get regular emails from Ripe who I have never contacted for a quote. As always it's in the mall print. If it looks too good to be true read read read.
