We are currently inthe lovely medieval village of Fanjeaux nr. Carcassonne.

The FREE !!! aire is shaped as a horseshoe and is very popular. There is room for 15 vans.

So, yesterday afternoon M. Head arrived. All the pitches to the right of the horseshoe were occupied but there was a space at the bottom of the aire, next but one to us.
Where did he put his chocks down for the night?
Here's the pics

A Couple of strategic moves would be in order I think

He's foreign .What do you expect. (y)

What do you expect on a Free aire, C&MH parking, try knocking a white post in somewhere and see what happens? 😆

We’ve stopped there a lot of times and folk have always parked along that side, maybe they can’t get a tv signal under the trees.

I remember from my school French that a Tete is French for Head and Richarde is French for Dick 🤔
In conversation classes my French master who was a bit of a wag adopted the name 'Roland Beurre'.
And on here we have the mischievously named 'Gaston Aires'.

OK, he didn't park where you expected him to, but is he causing any issues where he is ?

Looks a fairly sensible spot to me. Had he parked end on, he might have impinged on the ability of the van in the left of the picture being able to move, plus it would have been fairly tight with two vans end on there.
