Revolut and source of funds.

I use my revolut account as my primary personal bank account. I have a business account for my company with HSBC but the app is lousy and too hard to use.

I love revolut because the app is easy to use. I even use features like turning off ATM withdrawals until I actually need it. If my card gets stolen (Never happened yet), thieves can't get cash out. I get pinged on every purchase. I have an easy to access record of spending and balance. I just find it really refreshing to use as a primary personal account.

No login required, all operates off my finger print.

Each week I transfer a fixed amount across to it from my company account and that is my budget for the week.

I only once had a technical problem which was dealt with very quickly via chat within the app itself. I was very impressed with the service.

Link it to a current account and then you can top up almost instantly via the app. You can do bank transfers via the normal online banking route but that sometimes takes a bit longer.
I do a weekly transfer via my online banking from HSBC to revolut. I get paid by my client in upwork. I transfer to paypal as this is quicker than direct to my HSBC account. I then transfer from paypal to my HSBC account. I then log into my HSBC account, do the transfer to my revolut account for that weeks wages. By the time I have logged out of HSBC the money is in my Revolut account and my phone has pinged to tell me. It has never taken longer than in a minute in the last 2 years of using revolut.

Between paypal and revolut I have the perfect set up for me and never have to enter my bank details or card details on a website.

I like your system as it’s very secure. I just meant don’t do top ups from a credit card. Darling daughter won’t let me use my Revolut now anyway, damn those russians.

Personally I like Revolut, I like the fact that if it goes for a walk & I don’t block it in time it doesn’t have all my bank money on it.
I like the fact the exchange rate £-€ is better than most and I can change money easily & quickly!
