Return to MORELO

Just a couple of pics to get you interested, or possibly not;)

IMG_0714.jpeg

Just to start this is half of the hall for the evening festivities, when this is over it will be a new production hall as the factory is still expanding.

New rear lounge Alkoven on IVECO daily chassis cab.

IMG_0720.jpeg

Lounge in a Loft, no front bed so loads more room in the cab area.

IMG_0721.jpeg

Obviously a kitchen, most of the vans seem to have the Dometic 10 series compressor fridge freezer with a microwave/grill above now.

And it's been a long day and getting late so that's it for today;)

With the reliability Maserati's are known for probably the best way of getting them from A to B.
If you could live with a slightly smaller van you could have a Porsche.

Often the same - island bed = short sofa
It’s a Motorhome so there will always be a compromise, Jen fell in love with the bed/bathroom layout but luckily the rest didn’t suit her😏

Don’t think you would be left with much payload with a car onboard, unless you didn’t tick any of the extras boxes😁
I think they have tried to keep the build weight down, only one kitchen sink and two burner hob etc, but yes a car will always gobble up payload especially the later Smarts.

Exactly the problem, jacks gastanks solar kit all questionable and big compromises on the interior and then what do you do if its delivered heavier than the calculations? If you need/want a car you're better off with it on a trailer IMHO.

Now we all know MORELO are super reliable but for some reason the service centre have a load of tech guys on scooters running around doings little jobs.

You could get a lot of bikes in Jon if you don’t bother with a car.
True but its the extra 1m of length plus the compromises to the living that kill it. Ok overall your going to be longer with a trailer but the bendy bit makes it a lot easier.

Assuming you hook it on correctly😂😂
Sitting on the site at KRK and an almighty bang behind us.
Went to have a look and a lady driving a NL car had driven along from her pitch but obviously not hooked the caravan on properly😳
Luckily for her the breakaway cable did its job before snapping as it would have rolled back a fair way, still a big score in the road where the front dug in and slid along the soft tarmac.

Theres an infiltrator in pic 2 and 3 ...a neisman has snuck in ...call security

I saw a panel van there too, but thinking about it, thats probably the house staff/servants who follow along '\

I wonder what the two collective nouns are for a group of Morello owners?

I say two as there will be the name the use themselves and the "other" one everyone else uses

All sorts here Jim, but imagine organising a rally and feeding about 1600 people 😧

Go on then enlighten me😉

The singular is MORELO

I think MORELO’s view is that every Niesmann owner they host is a potential MORELO owner 👍
They are treading on your role as a Morelo fettler Martin.
They are a bit more efficient than me though Geoff, took me half an hour to change two cupboard hinges that they gave me for free, mind you we are still in warranty but they were not bothered anyway.

Ooh, thats a big rally, glad I'm not frying 3200 rashers :D
Some might want two Jim ;) and after the beer that has been served tonight they might need them, and this is only the warm up tomorrow is the party and fireworks.

Anyway enough of this frivolity, Lenny HB want's the technical lowdown on our visit to Meier chassis prep, oops sorry not photo's but it was very interesting;)

But I did see these Buttner solar panels with a diode on every cell so shading can never take out more than the number of cells that are shaded.

Our carriage awaits;)

Well tomorrow actualy but I am told that they fasten horse to the front of these and then drive us through the countryside while we help ourselves to beer and prosecco, sounds dangerous to me especially if we finish at the showroom.
